You understand that the secure messaging feature is not intended for emergency situations, and you should not use it to seek medical attention in an emergency. The Mayo Clinic Patient Portal is owned and operated by the Department of Defense (DoD). The Patient Portal, including all content, features, and functionality, is the property of the DoD and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the DoD, its affiliates, or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, or representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the MHS Genesis Patient Portal.
